Nothing beats a crumble for dessert or an afternoon snack.
The seeds and high-protein muesli boost in this recipe make it a healthy option for a winter evening.
1/2 cup flour (or ground almonds)
75g butter (or coconut oil)
1/4 cup honey (optional)
1/4 cup coconut (optional)
About 6 cups of seasonal stewed fruit. We have used the last of our feijoa crop in this recipe.
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. In a medium mixing bowl, rub the butter into the oat / flour mixture until it is evenly mixed through. Add honey and coconut as desired and mix well to combine.
2. Sprinkle evenly over hot stewed fruit and place in oven for 10 minutes.
3. Top with 1 cup of Mum's Muesli and add more as required to fill in the gaps. Return to the oven for a few more minutes to ensure it is warm through.
This recipe serves 6-8.
Enjoy warm with yoghurt or cream.
